London Center for Development is a UK group that designs, builds, and operates the digital systems universities, research bodies, and enterprises depend on. We publish our own platforms, run them on infrastructure we operate ourselves, and take on bespoke engagements when they fit our taste. We answered twelve RFPs last year, accepted four, and shipped all four. That is the shape of the firm.
01 What we believe
Software is a thing you keep.
A platform you replace every three years was a platform you should not have bought. We design the products to be used in 2030.
Selling and supporting are the same job.
The senior engineer in the pre-sales call is the senior engineer on the post-sales escalation. There is no off-shore handover.
Infrastructure is not a bullet point.
We operate every product we publish, UK and EU residency, observable, postmortemed in public when something goes wrong.
Plain English is a feature.
Every contract, every roadmap, every status page is written in the language of the person reading it. Adjectives are taxed.
